OBITUARY
(1) Mrs. August Seidel, 82, Fessenden, was killed last Saturday afternoon in a two car crash at the intersection of US 52 and ND 3 south of Harvey. The car driven by Mr. Seidel came into the intersection from the north as a station wagon with three Minnesota men approached from the east. Mrs. Seidel died instantly of a broken neck and skull fractures. .. Mr. Seidel and Mrs. Atilda Broschat, a passenter in the Seidel car, are still hospitalized at Harvey, but their condition is reported as good.
(2) Funeral service were held Wednesday at Germantown Baptist Church for Mrs. August (Christine) Seidel, 82, of Fessenden, who was killed in a two-car accident south of Harvey Saturday.. Mrs. Seidel, the former Christine Meth, was born in Russia Nov. 1, 1884. She married Mr. Seidel at Cathay June 28, 1906. The farmed in Germantown Township, Wells County, east of Fessenden, until 1953, then retired and moved into Fessenden. Survivors include her husband, a son, Clarence of Cathay; four sisters, Mrs. Katie Scherbenski, Baptist Home, Bismarck; Mrs. Oscar (Pauline) Thor, Cokato, MN; Mrs. Rose Link, Miami, Fl; Mrs. Atilda Broschat, Fessenden; four brothers, John Meth of Maddock, Gust Meth of Fargo, Walter Meth of Alexandria, MN, Albert Meth of Lodi, CA; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
