Lawrence was born in Stockham, Nebraska on March 31, 1943 to Vern Hamlin Reichert and Vera Roemmich.
Lawrence enjoyed bowling, hunting, ice fishing and horseshoeing.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Reichert, father, Vern Reichert, brother, Duane Reichert and sister, Joanne Roberts.
Lawrence is survived by his mother, Vera Reichert of Sutton, NE, five step-children, Christine Contreras of Albuquerque, NM, Debra Chávez and her husband, Walter of Guadalupita, NM, Joan Manguso of Albuquerque, NM, Fran Chávez of Bernal, NM and John Chávez of Bernal, NM, daughters, Kelly Reichert of Castlerock, CO and Jacque Wolfe of Austin, AK, brothers, Alvin Reichert of Hartings, NE, Jerald Reichert of Aurora, NE, Richard Reichert of Sutton, NE, Gene Reichert of Sutton, NE, sister, Karen Emmelkamp of Bozeman, MT and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held by Deacon Eloy Roybal on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Torres Cemetery in Guadalupita, NM at 1:00 p.m. A Reception will follow immediately after the service at the Reichert family home in Guadalupita, NM.
