Adam and Dora were married at the residence of her parents, John Wahl, by Pastor W. Bonekemper of the German Reformed Church of Sutton, NE.

Adam Burbach, a resident of Central City for the past 11 years passed away at Central City, December 18, 1960, at the age of 75 years. The son of Mr. & Mrs. John Burbach, was born at Sutton, NE., June 15, 1885. He received his early education in the rural schools of the Sutton locality. Mr. Burbach was a member of the Second Reformed Church of Sutton. In 1906 he was married to Miss Dora Wahl at Sutton. Following their marriage they resided in the Sutton locality until 1933 when they moved to the Stockham community, living there until 1949. Mr. Burbach is survived by his one son Reuben of Central City and one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Steele of North Hollywood, Cal, four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other more distant relatives. He was preceded in passing by both of his parents, five brothers, one sister and one son, and his wife. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 20, at Solt chapel. Rev Robert O. McLeod was officiating clergy. Miss Judy Gibson sand "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden". Mrs. Walter Raedke was organist. Pallbearers were E.O. Anderson, Paul Grosshans, Victor Grosshans, Ralph Hensley, Robert J. Jones and Arthur Larson. Interment was in the Sutton Cemetery. (obit) Emmanuel Reformed marriage
