In 1938-39 he and Catherine R. are listed at 519-5th and Henry worked as an accountant. In 1940-41they were living at 323-11th and he was the assistant director of the Surplus Commodities Division for the State Public Welfare Board. In 1945 and 1948-49 they were still at the same address and Henry was a radio tech and then a parts manager at Missouri Valley Motors. On the 1930 census, 19 year old Henry was a presser at a dry cleaners. WORLD WAR II In a 1943 address book of his brother John, Henry is listed as working in the "Radio Rec.
