      "MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Edward T. "Ted" Funk, 60, of 9780 Shimpstown Road, died
      Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, at his home. Born Aug. 13, 1941, in Waynesboro,
      Pa., he was the son of the late Charles and Jeanette Pittman Funk. He was
      a former employee of Foremost Industries in Greencastle, Pa. He is
      survived by his wife, Peggy Repp Funk, whom he married May 15, 1960; two
      sons, Curtis L. Funk and Corey A. Funk, both of Mercersburg; two sisters,
      Drucilla Seville of Everett, Pa. and Melody Egolf of Mercersburg; eight
      brothers, Charles R. Funk, John P. Funk, Paul E. Funk, Daryl A. Funk and
      Melvin G. Funk, all of Mercersburg, Leroy R. Funk of Topeka, Kan., Harold
      R. Funk of Fort Loudon, Pa., and Martin L. Funk of Clear Spring; two
      granddaughters; nieces and nephews. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at
      Lininger-Fries Funeral Home in Mercersburg. The Rev. Curtis Bryant will
      officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in
      Chambersburg. Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday at 10
      a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Make-A-Wish
      Foundation, 1770 E. Market St., York, PA 17402."
