She was born July 2, 1901, in Friedensthal, Russia, and came to the United States with her parents, Henry and Katherine Neubauer, in 1906. They settled in the Loveland area. On Jan 27, 1921, she married Henry Croissant, and the couple lived on the Croissant Farm until their health failed. Mrs. Croissant had lived in California for 11 years. A longtime member of the First Congregational Church in Loveland, Mrs. Croissant was active in the Ladies Circle. Survivors are two daughters, Orlene Biggert of Mission Viejo, Calif., and JoAn Smith of Westminster, Calif., a daughter-in-law, Viola Croissant of Loveland; a sister, Louise Mitzel of South Gate, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, a daughter, Katherine, and a son, Leon, are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Congregational Church, 800 N Lincoln Ave., Loveland. Interment will be in Loveland Lakeside Cemetery. Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, Loveland, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial gifts may be made to the First Congregational Church, Loveland.
