EMIGRATION TO RUSSIA
The Glatten family book register for the family of Johann David Harr and Anna Maria Gühring shows that their children Jacob Friedrich, Johann David, Johannes, Johann Matthaus and Anna Maria all emigrated to Russia. Passport data can be found for Friedrich and David in 1817. As the other three were not married at the time, it is possible that they traveled under the passport of one of their older married brothers. It is known that Johannes arrived in Russia in 1817. His date of birth corresponds very closely to that calculated from the ages in the documents below. While one of those documents gives his place of origin as Glatt (rather than Glatten), no record of a Johannes Harr from Glatt can be found. Based on other information, it is currently assumed that he was actually this Johannes from Glatten.

*5 March 1826 - Württemberg immigrant Johann Harr, who arrived in 1817 through Ismail quarantine and did not come in 1822 to be registered for the new revision lists, wishes now to be accepted into the number of the colonists of the Colony Grossliebental, about whose acceptance the local colonists declared their agreement.. The attachments under A and B, the name list about his family, I submit all of this to the Office for their approval..
*15 March 1826 - ..Johann Harr..who wishes to be accepted into the number of the colonists of the Colony Grossliebental, about whose acceptance the local community declared their agreement and that decision was submitted to the Office for approval together with the name list of Harr's family and the supervisor submits this Grossliebental community's aggreement to accept immigrant Harr and his family of 1 male and 3 female members.. the immigrant Johann Harr as well as his wife Margaretha actually arrived in 1817 to Russia through the Ismail quarantine, being then single, both with the standard passport and each of them had to pay 50 rubles of state quarantine debt.
*Attachment A, in German, dated 24 November 1825 - We, who are signing in the name of the community of the Grossliebental colonists, hereby certify that we shall accept and take into our midst the colonist Johann Harr, who arrived here, unmarried, in the year 1817 by way of Ismail, but who, however, married Margaretha Koch in the same year, together with his entire family, which consists of one male and 4 female souls. - Followed by 21 signatures.

Fond #252-1-729 --Case of issuing emergency passports in Liebental district. Began in January 1830, completed 24 May 1830.
Grossliebental colonist Johann Harr (shepherd) wants to get a one-year passport to live with his family in Cherson, Tauria and Ekaterinoslav provinces earning his profession. Since this colonist doesn't have his farmstead and has guarantors for the future, the office asks for giving him a one-year passport. Legal duty of 5 silver rubles and 10 rubles for charitable institutions are enclosed.
Passport - By decree of his Majesty, Tsar and Emperor Nicholas Pavlovich, Ruler of all Russia.. Presenter of this, colonist of Odessa district, Colony Grossliebental, Johann Harr with family that consists of 2 males and 5 females, who has a state debt, discharged into Odessa district for personal needs from below written date for one year, that is until 19 October 1829. After this date he must come back; otherwise he will be subject to the law. Issued from Odessa Department of Foreign Settlers with attachment of a seal on 19 October 1828 in the State Colony of Tiraspol district.

THEORY
At this time, it can only be theorized that the Margaretha Koch who married Johannes Harr in Russia is the same as the Margaretha Koch born in Schwaikheim. However, given the facts below, it seems a logical conclusion, at least until other facts become known.
FACTS KNOWN ABOUT MARGARETHA KOCH
Age: In the 1858 Census for Grossliebental (taken on 1 Jan), her age is given as 66 (suggesting a birth in 1791). Her age at death is given as 77 years, 3 months, 4 days (suggesting a birth date about 27 Nov 1792).
Arrival in Russia: From an 1826 document requesting acceptance into the colony of Grossliebental, Margaretha Koch and Johannes Harr, both single, arrived through Ismail quarantine in 1817 and were married later that year [probably in Odessa].
Stumpp: Adam Friedrich Koch and Gottlieb Koch both left for/arrived in Russia in 1817 from Schwaikheim.
From Schwaikheim Family Register: Her brother Johann Gottlieb Koch emigrated with his family to Caucasus on 11 Jun 1817. Her sister Katharina Barbara married Joh. Gutenberger and emigrated in 1817 (destination not given). Margaretha emigrated with permission (ist mit Erlaubniß ausgewandert) (date and destination not given).
Margaretha Koch was born in Schwaikheim on 6 Jan 1793, only 1 month and 10 days different from the birth date suggested by age at death of the Margaretha (Koch) Harr who died in Alexanderhilf.
No passport information was found for Johannes Harr. However, his two older brothers, Jacob Friedrich and Johann David Harr, obtained passports in Freudenstadt on 12 Jun 1817. This was only one day later than Johann Gottlieb Koch in Waiblingen--so it seems quite possible that they would have traveled together on the journey to Russia.
Of further interest is the fact that the oldest daughter of Johannes and Margaretha (Koch) Harr married Johannes Klink/Klenk. It appears that the Klenk family was also from Schwaikheim.
CENSUS
The 1858 Census for Grossliebental lists the "Widow Margaretha Harr" 66, along with sons: Johann 29, his wife Katharina (arrived from Neu Freudental) 28 and sons Johann 5 and Daniel 3; and Daniel 26, and his wife Friederika (arrived from Güldendorf) 21.
